The first in a planned series of informal lunch-time discussions to foster conversation between the IHPST and practicing scientists. The inaugural ‘Meet the Scientists’ will feature a conversation with Dr. Soren Brothers, a limnologist and the Allan and Helaine Shiff Curator of Climate Change at the Royal Ontario Museum. He will discuss his work and the challenges facing climate science and science communication, and then the floor will be opened for Q&A and conversation. Come with questions about the practice of climate science, connections between history and philosophy of science and practicing science, the role of museums in public engagement with science, etc!
